Victims of sexual harassment and discrimination now have three years to file an administrative complaint with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH).
Previously victims only had one year to file a claim.
A complaint to the DFEH is a requirement before a victim is able to file a lawsuit in a California Superior Court.
